What is Ripple and how does Ripple work?

Ripple (XRP) was founded by Ripple Labs Inc and officially launched in 2012. Ripple is programmed in C++ by three programmers: Arthur Britto, David Schwartz, and Ryan Fugger. Ripple enables all banks or payment providers, digital exchanges to send money globally using advanced blockchain technology. The main idea of Ripple is to make international transfers between fiat currencies faster and cheaper. Now, the transaction speed ranges between 1-4 seconds, but in the future, with the Cobalt algorithm implementation, the transactions will take only 1 second.

The transaction’s fees on the Ripple network are one of the smallest in the comparison with the other cryptocurrencies.

How does Ripple work

All new users should send the Ripple via Ripple wallet. You can register your Ripple walet on one of the online exchanges, or you can use software wallet in your computer. For the software wallet registration you need pay 20 XRP deposit to prevent creation of spam wallets.

Is Ripple worth to invest in 2020?

In our opinion, there is not too big perspective to a big price rise of XRP during this year, but based on the low price of the XRP it is good to own few coins for the case, that in the future Ripple’s price rises.
